I'm Dennis – pianist, handpan player, musician and passionate sound explorer. My music arises from a deep desire: to consciously feel emotions and invite people into a moment of stillness, presence and connection.

Handpan Workshops

Together we dive into the world of the handpan and discover what makes it so unique. I show you the basics – its structure, symmetries and the logic behind scales. Step by step we explore first chords, rhythm and harmony until living music emerges from individual notes – with no prior musical experience needed.

For those who want to go deeper, I also offer advanced workshops on music theory. Here we explore topics such as scale relationships, modes, chord progressions and rhythmic phrasing – always experienced hands-on directly on the handpan. This way you learn to understand musical connections and apply them intentionally to give your playing more depth, expression and independence.

My showroom, workshops and 1:1 lessons for handpan and piano take place in Althengstett near Calw – in the northern Black Forest (Schwarzwald), in Baden-Württemberg. Easily reachable from Böblingen, Sindelfingen, Pforzheim, Leonberg, Herrenberg, Holzgerlingen and Stuttgart. Whether you want to learn handpan or piano, attend a workshop or try out a handpan in the showroom – participants come from the entire region and wider Southern Germany: from Karlsruhe, Ettlingen, Nagold, Tübingen, Reutlingen, Ludwigsburg and beyond.
